Corallium konojoi

white coral Japan

This coral is found in Pacific waters from Japan, Okinawa to the Philippines. It comes in white colours, or also white with pink/red spots. It is found at depths of around 100-200m. This species of coral is called “Bianco” in Italy and “Shiro” in Japan.
