Terminology is especially important when it comes to the sale of precious coral. Correct disclosure of origin and possible treatments should follow international guidelines. The World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) is responsible for guidelines on disclosure of treatments and correct naming of products, detailed in the CIBJO Blue Books. For more details see www.cibjo.org
